Janice Ruth (Nattier) Forsyth, 93, died Tuesday night surrounded by her family on July 17, 2018 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital, Medicine Lodge, KS.  She was born June 20, 1925 in Concordia, KS to Frank and Irene (Acre) Nattier.

Jan attended Carlton followed by KU where she met the love of her life.  On June 22, 1947, she married Bill Forsyth in Concordia, KS.  Her compassion for people was demonstrated by pouring her heart into the community and her family.  “She truly was a woman of God, clothed in HIS strength and dignity.  Her children rise up and call her blessed.” Proverbs 31.

Surviving are her children: two sons, Drew Forsyth (Nancy) of Ottawa, Canada and Brad Forsyth (Liz) of Medicine Lodge, KS; one daughter, Paula Hill of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Clayton Nattier of Lakewood, CO; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family present from 4-6 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Paul Stephens officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
