A suspect has been apprehended in a Tuesday morning shooting in Seward in northern Stafford County.

A suspect has been apprehended in a shooting in Seward on Tuesday morning, Aug. 28. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Stafford County Sheriff's Office are investigating the shooting that took place at 519 Seward Avenue. One victim has been confirmed by the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. No other information about the victim, suspect or shooting has been released at this time. Seward has a population of about 60 and is located 11 miles north and three miles west of St. John in Stafford County.
