Steven Eugene Spotts, 30, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Thursday evening, October 18, 2018 in Winfield. Steven, or “Stevie,” as he was known to his family, was born on September 4, 1988 in Anthony, KS to George “Steve” Spotts and Susan (Winkle) DeMayo. He graduated from Skyline High School in Pratt, KS in 2007, and went on to attend culinary school in Denver, CO. As the youngest of five brothers, Stevie developed a passion early on for fishing, as well as a good sense of humor. He loved teasing and playing pranks on people, but you could never be mad at Stevie, as he had such an infectious laugh and good spirit. As a child, Stevie especially enjoyed going to monster truck rallies and playing paintball with his dad. Being the youngest, Stevie became an uncle at an early age, and he spent many hours playing with and helping take care of his nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly. Stevie had a passion for cooking and barbecuing, and he loved sharing his food with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Steven is survived by his father, Steve Spotts and stepmother Marsha Jean of Winfield, KS, mother, Susan Demayo and stepfather Doug of Caldwell, KS, brother David Hart and wife Holly of Augusta, KS, brother Daniel Hart and wife Angie of Littleton, CO, brother Ian McGoye and wife Tiffany of Littleton, CO, sister-in-law Rita Hart of Caldwell, KS, stepbrother Kyle Mashburn and wife Holly, step-brother Dustin Mashburn, step-sister Brandy Harrison, step-sister April DeBoar and husband Jack, nieces and nephews Miles, Vaughn, C.J. and Kailey Hart, Zachary, Zoey and Zara Hart, Ethan McGoye, Taylor and Carter Hart, Alexis, Carnessa, and Chyna Bochy, Bradley and Charley Mashburn, and Ethan Harrison. Steven was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Hart.

Memorial Services will be held at Millington Street Baptist Church in Winfield, KS on Thursday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
