Reba I. Harmon, 83, died Aug. 29, 2010, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita. She was born Dec. 7, 1926 in Loveland, Colo. to Albert Russell and Beulah Edna Curtis Thompson.
Edna M. Heflin, 88, died Aug. 29, 2010, at Pratt Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 4, 1922, in Pratt to Bruce E. and Ada M. Woods Patterson.
Eveline Davis, age 71, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 at South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt. She was born May 8, 1939, in Hughes, Ark., the daughter of George and Willie McBeth Taylor. She was retired after 40 years as a cook for Don’s Servateria in Pratt.
Helen Marie Hamilton, age 86, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center. She was born May 3, 1924, in Trousdale to Walter and F. Margaret Hager Ellis. She married Mearle ”Pappy” Hamilton on Aug. 14, 1945 at Larned. He died on April 13, 1983.
Former Hastings resident, Patty R. (Schoonover) Kenney-Hamilton, 81, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Immanuel Medical Center, Omaha, Neb., after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Rachael Keller died peacefully in the presence of her family on Aug. 19, 2010, at the age of 92. She was born in Burlington on May 13, 1918, the first child of Chester and Nellie Wagaman. Rachael grew up on the family farm near Emporia, along with her two brothers, Loren and Roy.
Terry R. Chitwood, 58, half-brother of Kristi Chitwood, Greensburg, died Aug. 22, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center.
Ethel Marie Slater, 92, a former Pratt Regional Medical Center employee and Sawyer resident, died Aug. 21, 2010, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
Laban Ira Wright, 90, Garden City, brother of Violet Dishman and Carol Garcia, both of Pratt, died Aug. 18 at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City.
Arthur Wayne Myers, age 71, died Saturday, Aug, 14, 2010, in Cambridge, N. Y. He was born Sept. 2, 1938, in rural Haviland, the son of Arthur E. Myers and Effie L. Horney-Myers-Miller. He served in the United States Air Force, stationed at Walker Air Force Base In Roswell, N.M.
Kenneth “Kenny” E. Nichols, 77, died Aug. 15, 2010, at South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt. He was born March 20, 1933, in Nashville, Kan., the son of Wayne and Estella Palmer Nichols. A lifetime resident of Medicine Lodge, he was an office manager for National Gypsum Co., Medicine Lodge.
Linda Diane Toms, 63, daughter of Curtis D. and Ruby Jean O’Dell and sister of Curtis O’Dell, Deanna Shelton and Nancy Berens, all of St. John, died Aug. 16, 2010, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
Norma Lee Mills, 78, died Aug. 14, 2010. She was born Aug. 12, 1932. in Pratt, the daughter of James and Edna Strobel Mills. She was a resident of Arrowhead West from 1973-2007 and has lived at the Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital in Medicine Lodge the past three years.

Ycilla Fay Wilson, 79, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at her home in Grove. She was born on June 12, 1931, to Will Kit and Mertist Mae Foster Bigham in Lefors, Texas. She married Austin H. “Whip” Wilson on Aug. 18, 1948 in Pampa, Texas.
