Former Greenback Bailey Gillig was named to the all-conference volleyball team at KWU.
Kansas Wesleyan Volleyball student-athlete, and former Pratt High School Greenback, Bailey Gillig was one of five Coyotes selected to the All-KCAC Volleyball team as selected by the conference coaches.
KWU had three First Team All-KCAC selections in Kelsey Plummer, Valerie Most and Hannah Reynolds. Taylor Dodge was selected as Second Team All-KCAC and Bailey Gillig was Honorable Mention All-KCAC.
Gillig averaged 3.3 digs for the Coyotes on the season and had a .981 passing percentage as a back row specialist. Gillig stepped in as libero during the KCAC tournament and had a career high 36 digs in the match with Tabor, as she averaged 7.0 digs per set during the conference tournament. She ranked No. 16 in the KCAC in digs per set and No. 12 in total digs.
The Coyotes finished the 2017 campaign with a 26-10 overall record and were KCAC Co-Champions with a 19-3 record in conference play. The Coyotes reached the KCAC Tournament semifinals against Ottawa.
